This is a cigar perfume review of the Cigar Perfume for Men by Remy Latour. Initially I was not going to buy Cigar Perfume for Men, by Remy Latour because it was packaged in a tin in which I could not open to test the fragrance.
Seeing that it only came to $10 I went ahead and bought it. The package was unique, and hopefully the perfume located inside of the mystery tin was as equally as unique. The tin the perfume came in was made to look like a cigar box.
I figured I'd open it up at home, and if I liked it I'd keep it. If not, I could always just pass it along to someone as a gift.
Once I got home and popped off the tin lid, I looked inside at a remarkably unique, and attractive perfume bottle.
Cigar perfume came bottled up in a bottle shaped like a bunch of cigars. Yes it was interesting, and even if the perfume stunk, I was keeping it just for the bottle.
Scent
The plus though was that Cigar Perfume for Men, by Remy Latour, didn't smell bad at all. It was unique, and the first spray reminded me of the name right down to the tee. Cigar smelled just like an unlit cigar, a sweet tobacco scent that was manly, yet sweet enough for even women to appreciate.
I'm weird though, I like the smell of lit, and unlit cigars. They have a woody fragrance to them, with a sweet sugary leaf note that I've liked since childhood.
Last
The wonderful thing about Cigar Perfume, aside from the bottle and the scent, is that the scent actually lasts, and it lasts a long time. Hours after spraying just one small shot to my wrist, I was able to pick up the woody notes the fragrance left behind. I was pretty surprised at the last, especially considering that I picked up the perfume for only $10.00.
Overall
Cigar Perfume for Men, by Remy Latour is a winner in my opinion. The bottle is highly collection worthy, and the scent is long lasting and realistic to that scent you would get from a real cigar. But let's be real, this mens perfume isn't a high-end mens perfume. If you're expecting that, then you will be negatively surprised. But then, even the most high-end perfumes are objectively worth 10 bucks since that's what it costs to make them (and then a huge markup price is added from the branding of the perfume).
If not for yourself, pick up Cigar for someone else. The bottle alone is sure to make someone smile, especially those who smoke cigars regularly
