Thin hair pomade
« on: February 15, 2019, 05:11:21 PM »
Hello,

Recently I have used Murray's Pomade. This is a very heavy this oil based pomade. I used it for one day and thought; This isn't working. So I planned a barbers appointment. Then when I went to wash it out it didn't do so very easily, as I expected. After another evening of scrubbing dish soap and oil into it, I removed about 92% of the pomade.
I have decided to not use Murray's pomade anymore. It just doesn't work for me.

Tomorrow I am going to get hair cut like a pompadour. I will ask them what to use, and they'll probably say wax, because they sell that.

But I am looking for something else. Why?

Let me start of by telling what type of hair I have.
I have thin or thinning hair (what is thinning even?) I think it is straight, but I have 2 major crowns/Cow licks. One in the front right and back left. Both growing outward like a paper fan.
When using Wax and gel for the past two years I have come across one big problem.
My hair tends to split up because of the crown's/cow licks. I stick it down a certain way and before I exit the bathroom it has gone it's own way.

When I was using Murray's pomade wouldn't go its own way. It would finally listen to me!!!!
So that's why.

Now what I am looking for is a; water soluble page for light hair.
If you guys have any suggestions of other hairstyles or products just message me. I am very open minded at this point.

Also if there are grammar issues or the text doesn't make sense. I am sorry, I am writing this on my phone in the middle of the night and just can't be bothered.

Any questions, just ask.

Thanks for reading and good evening

When specifying the product I'm looking for it says page. I meant Pomade.
