Male fashion shows have grown in popularity over the last decade and you can see some hairstyle trends and menswear trends that will eventually drip down to the regular men in modern cities. If you want to wear hairstyles or clothes that are earlier than what the rest of dudes will wear then following a couple of fashion shows like the Milan Men's Fashion Week is a good idea.

Do any of you follow male fashion shows to keep up with the trends? Don't need to have attended one  just follow them on TV, magazines or internet 

I really don't follow male fashion shows or female fashion shows either. I think fashion is more about your own expressing and the best catwalk is the streets of any big city like New York or Chicago  not that i'm much of a fashionisto but I can combine colors to get a decent look 

I think the bold part of Alexander's quote summarizes my opinion 2, for all I know male fashion shows are more of a sausage fest for divos who love buying overpriced stuff than anything else. Perhaps i am stereotyping but when I was in college I know a couple of guys in the fashion industry working for big fashion houses and the amount of nonsense they'd do at shows...urgh

Never have and never will. Give a plain t-shirt, jeans and some comfy shoes and I'm on, no need to complicate your fashion style by watching androgynous men walking across a catwalk.
