Vanilla Ice hairstyle: The Pompadour hair style
« on: January 05, 2014, 03:39:17 PM »
Vanilla Ice was a US rapper from the 1990s who was known for his Pompadour hairstyle and cheesy lyrics. Vanilla Ice, born Robert Matthew Van Winkle, made the Pompadour hair style part of his signature rapper style and we have yet to see another rapper with a phat Pomp like Vanilla Ice had.

So, to bring you some nostalgia from the 1990s, here are some pictures of Vanilla Ice's Pompadour hairstyle:

Hair products for a Pompadour hair style

If you are wondering what you need to sport a phat Pomp like that of Mr. Ice, then all you need are the following hair products for men:
  • Oil-based pomade: use it to style the Pompadour and sweep the hair back with a comb. Get this oil-based pomade .
  • Hair dryer: the hair dryer will help you attain good volume on the top especially on the quiff (the hair on the front above the forehead). A good hair dryer is an investment and it will last you for years as well as allow you to do many hairstyles, not just the Pompadour. Get this hair dryer .
  • Hair pick: to better create the Quiff, use a hair pick to "pick" up the hair on the front of your head as you point the hair dryer to the Quiff so it gains volume. The hair pick will be very helpful to get the Quiff shaped like you want it to. Get this hair pick .
  • Men's comb: for the rest of the hair other than the Quiff, use a good men's comb to sweep the hair back including the hair on the sides of your hair (Vanilla Ice had the hair on the sides of his hair clipped though). Get this high quality men's comb (it is handmade).
