I came across these pictures of Charlie Chaplin with no mustache and makeup. As you will know Charlie Chaplin was known for the toothbrush mustache which would later be copied by Adolf Hitler as tribute to his friend Chaplin

Not only the lack of mustache changes Charlie Chaplin's appearance but also the lack of makeup. Back then actors like him had to wear layer after layer of some heavy duty makeup.
